Whatever way you look at it, the Gloucester Warwickshire Railway's reopening - or, rather, opening, since there was very little left - of a station in the Cotswolds tourist hotspot of Broadway was a massive "hit". The beautifully recreated GWR style buildings and station paraphernalia gives the railway a superb northern terminus with an effectively unlimited catchment area as the tourist buses bring thousands of potential passengers right to the railway's door and serves to makethe beautiful little town's popularity even greater. In this sequence we see GWR 2-8-0T no 4270 arriving and then departing the newly-opened station shortly after opening in July, when there were still a few things needed to complete it, such as footsteps for the footbridge!
