Editors Notes:

After a somewhat extended absence from the rails the new-build Peppercorn LNER design Pacific no 60163 "Tornado" made a triumphant return to the main lines in early March 2019 on a train from Doncaster to Edinburgh on 3rd March and then, a week later, as a preview of a number of runs to be undertaken during the summer, to Aberdeen and back from and to Edinburgh. Here we see the locomotive on the latter train, on the outward run at Markinch and on the return passing through Perth.
