The Bluebell Railway has one of the shortest 'hibernation' periods out-of-season and resumes services this forthcoming weekend, on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February 2016. Those who need a good 'steam fix' could do worse than to travel down to rural Sussex as there are two engines rostered for service, the LBSCR E5 tank no. B475 and the Southern Region BR Standard class 5 4-6-0 no 73082 'Camelot'. Here's a reminder of what the latter looks like, ascending Freshfield Bank during the recent 'Giants of Steam' Gala when it returned to service after overhaul. Let's hope the weather is as good as this!
